What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than to head to your local winery for their specials and tastings? Grab your sweetheart and find your neighborhood winery for a night to “wine” down. If you’re looking for a night in, pour a glass of your favorite wine and we will tell you what Girl Scout cookies to pair it with.


Lexington, NC – Childress Vineyards – Valentine’s Dinner & Dance
Feb. 9, 2019 @ 6 p.m.
Treat the special person in your life to our Valentine’s Dinner & Dance with our fine wines and gourmet, three-course dinner. Entertainment will be performed by The Dickens. Reception will begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.

Feb. 14, 2019 @ 5 – 8 p.m.
The Bistro at Duplin Winery in Rose Hill will be open for romantic dining on Feb. 14 in celebration of Valentine’s Day. Guests can enjoy a special gourmet menu that highlights the local flavors of North Carolina mingled with Duplin’s finest wines. Not only will you delight your special someone with The Bistro’s fine dining, but your taste buds will also savor each bite full of rich flavors. While dining, live romantic music will help set the stage for an enchanting evening with the one you love.

To celebrate Valentine’s Day we are extending the hours in our tasting room until 8 p.m. Make plans to visit and enjoy an evening of classic rock and love songs performed by the one and only James Vincent Carroll.

Feb. 16, 2019 @ 3 – 5 p.m.

Enjoy a special Valentine’s treat, designed to share with your love one. Our Sweetheart Tasting will take place in the intimate setting of our barrel room. Our experienced staff will pour each of our Reserve Wines paired with Chef Frances’ selection of artisan cheeses and meats. Take home a souvenir Riedel wine glass and long stem rose.
