1⁄3 cup honey (Maple Honey Mustard Ingredients)
1 chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces (Chicken Ingredients)
1 teaspoon Salt (Chicken Ingredients)
1 teaspoon Pepper (Chicken Ingredients)
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (Chicken Ingredients)
1 egg (Waffle Ingredients)
3⁄4 cup whole milk (Waffle Ingredients)
1 teaspoon vanilla (Waffle Ingredients)
2 1⁄2 Tablespoons oil (Waffle Ingredients)
1 cup flour (Waffle Ingredients)
1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder (Waffle Ingredients)
1 Tablespoon sugar (Waffle Ingredients)
Pinch of salt (Waffle Ingredients)
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix mustard, maple syrup and honey together in a small bowl, set aside
Prepare the chicken, season and set aside.
Waffles: Combine the wet ingredients in a mixing bowl. In another mixing bowl, sift together the dry ingredients. Add the wet to the dry and mix until smooth. Add the seasoned chicken to the waffle batter. Make sure the chicken is coated in the batter. Heat your waffle iron on the lowest setting. Spoon a piece of chicken and additional batter into each section. Cook on the lowest setting for approximately 7-10 minutes.
Makes 14 waffle bites
Serve with maple honey mustard dipping sauce.
