Eight North Carolina food companies were honored this past weekend at a gala Awards Ceremony in San Francisco to honor the 220 Good Food Awards winners of 2019. In the 9th annual ceremony, the Good Food Awards celebrates American food and drink crafters who not only better our nation’s food system, but also show their love, dedication and craft through the food they create.
This year, there were 16 categories including beer, charcuterie, cheese, chocolate, cider, coffee, confections, elixirs, fish, honey, oils, pantry, pickles, preserves, snacks and spirits. Of the 220 winners selected from 324 finalists, 8 winners were from North Carolina.
