The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services officially broke ground Monday, July 23, on the $107 million Agricultural Sciences Center, a co-located facility that will house labs and offices for the Food and Drug Protection, Structural Pest Control and Pesticides, Standards and Veterinary divisions. It is projected to be completed in late 2020.
