New season of ‘Flavor NC’ starts tonight on UNC-TV

Fall brings with it the return of a new season and 10 new episodes of “Flavor, NC,” highlighting the best in North Carolina food and agriculture.  Season 4 kicks off tonight at 10:30 on UNC-TV, with encore airings to follow Sundays at 7 p.m.  This season, host Lisa Prince and the “Flavor, NC” team’s travels take them from a second-generation shrimper in Brunswick County to a former tobacco farmer turned blackberry grower in Franklin County.

All episodes air Thursdays at 10:30 p.m., Sundays at 7:00 p.m. on UNC-TV. Following is the episode guides:

Nov. 6 and 9 – J&B Herb Farm of Roxboro and Tony’s Oyster Bar in Cary
Nov. 13 and 16 – Atlantic Caviar & Sturgeon of Lenoir and Vidalia in  Boone
Nov. 20 and 23 –  Vollmer Farms blackberries of Bunn and Top of the Hill in Chapel Hill
Nov. 27 and 30 – TC Smith Farms of Seven Springs and Sodexo at Camp Lejeune
Dec. 4 and 7 –  Neese’s Country Sausage of Greensboro
