This week’s recipe continues a month of recipes featuring N.C.-grown sweet potatoes. North Carolina is a leader in sweet potato production, harvesting more than 64,000 acres for markets in the United States and around the world.
This weeks recipe is sliced sweet potato pie, a dessert that your grandmother may have made. Lisa notes that she “took this old fashioned recipe to a family function and it was a hit. They really enjoyed the sliced sweet potato for a change from the more traditional puree.”
