Jackie Wilder of Raleigh won a blue ribbon with this recipe for Chicken Alfredo Pizza in the Fleischmann’s Yeast baking contest at the N.C. State Fair. Although Brian had a little trouble in the kitchen, the whole grain crust really is quick, easy and delicious.
Once you’ve got the crust ready, top the pizza with chicken, Alfredo sauce, basil, spinach and a shredded cheese of your choice. Bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly. One bite of this homemade pizza, and you might wonder why you ever had pizza delivered in the first place.
