Bedbug finds new home in N.C. State video

Visitors to the N.C. State Fair last fall may have noticed a larger-than-life insect lurking in the Scott Building. The creature, an oversize bedbug, was created by NCDA&CS employee Laura Stover to help promote bedbug awareness for the Structural Pest Control and Pesticides Division. Since the fair, the bedbug has made numerous appearances at trade shows, board meetings and special events. Most recently, the bedbug made an appearance in a public service announcement for the Housing Authority at N.C. State University.
