Today’s Topic: Ag Development Forum takes place Feb. 2

Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler sits down each week with Southern Farm Network’s Rhonda Garrison to discuss “Today’s Topic.”

Southern Farm Network logoThe seventh annual Ag Development Forum will take place Thursday, Feb. 2, at the State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. Farmers, agribusiness professionals and the public are invited to the event, which will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Holshouser Building during the Southern Farm Show.

Keynote speakers are N.C. State University economists Mike Walden and Blake Brown, who will talk about economic and demographic trends affecting North Carolina agriculture. There will also be a roundtable discussion on farm safety, and Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler will deliver his annual State of Agriculture address.
