by | Jan 13, 2012

The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service is seeking applications from N.C. farmers who are interested in technical and financial assistance to help them get an energy audit of their operation. Funding for the Environmental Quality Incentives Program On-Farm Energy Initiative will be available soon.

A USDA announcement says farmers should work with their local USDA Service Center to establish eligibility and apply.

The EQIP On-Farm Energy initiative will assist farmers in the development of Agricultural Energy Management Plans for individual on-farm energy audits.
