Brian and Lisa continue a month of strawberry recipes with this one for strawberry spinach salad. The healthy combination of fruits and vegetables includes a bed of locally grown spinach, N.C. strawberries, cucumbers, nectarines, red onions and glazed pecans. Lisa tops the salad with grilled chicken and a poppy-seed dressing with cranberries and blue cheese. Later in the year, you can substitute fresh N.C. peaches for the nectarines to add variety.
