In the Kitchen with Brian and Lisa: Cheese Biscuits

WRAL reporter Brian Shrader and our own Lisa Prince feature seasonal recipes in their Got to Be Good Cookin’ segment using ingredients grown and available right here in North Carolina.

During November, the WRAL morning crew has been sharing favorite holiday recipes. This week, Bill Leslie shares his sister Miriam’s recipe for cheese biscuits, which calls for just five ingredients, including cayenne pepper for a little heat. The biscuit mixture is easy to make, but should be made in advance because it needs to be refrigerated overnight. Lisa also recommends adding fresh N.C. pecans to the top of each biscuit.
