Today’s Topic: State Fair livestock auction earns money for youth

Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler sits down each week with the Southern Farm Network’s Rhonda Garrison to discuss “Today’s Topic.”

Southern Farm Network logoThe N.C. State Fair is under way with fantastic weather. Attendance at the first days of the Fair totaled nearly 369,000. The fairgrounds was humming with activity, including the junior livestock shows.

On Saturday, the winners of those shows sold their animals at the annual Junior Livestock Sale of Champions.
