Photos from the Field: Labor Day

by | Sep 6, 2010

An antique warehouse west of Selma, photographed in 1983.

On behalf of the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, we would like to wish you a safe and happy Labor Day. As we all enjoy time with our friends and families, we’re asking for your help to identify this photo from our archive. We do our best to research the “who, what, when and wheres” of the photos we share with you from our extensive collection, but sometimes we don’t have much information. We do have the original caption for this photo appearing in the Agricultural Review on May 15, 1983:

“It’s not a race track grandstand nor is it a church. This unusual rural building is an antique warehouse located on the north side of U.S. Highway 70-A just west of Selma.”
