UNC-TV will air the second episode of a two-part series about the diversification of farming in North Carolina on Friday, Sept. 3, at 9:30 p.m. “North Carolina Farm Fresh: Fall Harvest” will focus on late-season crops — such as pumpkins, apples and Christmas trees — plus corn mazes and other agritourism activities. (Check out the promo video below.)
Back in the spring, the statewide public television station aired the first 30-minute show, which focused on spring and summer crops.
Both the spring and fall episodes were reported by Rick Sullivan and funded by a Tobacco Trust Fund Commission grant.
If you miss the program Sept. 3, you can also catch it Sept. 23 at 9:30 p.m. or Sept. 27 at 11:30 p.m. Or, if you’re up really late (or really early), the show will air at 3:30 a.m. Sept. 24 and Sept. 28.
