For many families, the start of another school year signals the end of summer picnics and backyard barbecues. However, summer is not over at farmers markets and roadside stands where vendors are still offering a variety of summer fruits and vegetables. With that in mind, Lisa and Brian prepare one more dish using locally grown tomatoes and cucumbers to create an appetizer for any summer celebration – first or final.
