See what happens to a soil sample when it comes to the Agronomic lab

by | Jul 26, 2010

Testing your soil is one of the best things you can do for your plants and vegetables. A soil test provides lots of information — what kind of nutrients you need to add to your soil, how much you need to add and how you can improve the production of your plants in a cost-effective and environmentally responsible way.

So what is involved in a soil test?

Members of our Agronomic Division staff were kind enough to provide a tour of the lab from a soil sample’s perspective. Check out the video to see the steps of the soil testing process.

Just a reminder that summer is a good time for homeowners to send in soil samples for their yards or gardens since the turn around time is fairly quick.
