WRAL reporter Brian Shrader and our own Lisa Prince feature seasonal recipes in their Got to Be Good Cookin’ segment using ingredients grown and available right here in North Carolina.
Fourth of July cookouts may be over, but there are plenty of backyard barbecues left this summer. With temperatures soaring in the 90s, this corn-salad recipe with cool yogurt dressing will be a welcome addition for your next outdoor gathering. Lisa and Brian prepare the salad with fresh corn, Roma tomatoes, cucumbers and red onions – all available at your local farmers market. You can even find pre-shucked corn at some locations if you have the same trouble as Brian did in this segment.
