by | Feb 23, 2010

Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler sits down each week with the Southern Farm Network’s Rhonda Garrison to discuss “Today’s Topic.”

A couple of weeks ago, the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services announced a series of workshops in Eastern North Carolina aimed at small food companies thinking about expansion. The department is going to duplicate that workshop series in the western part of the state.

“Food Marketing in the Real World” will take place April 20, “Making Media Work for Your Food Business” will be held Aug. 10, and “The Secrets of Marketing and Selling Success” will be held Nov. 16. Registration is open now for the April 20 workshop. The workshops will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the Western N.C. Ag Center in Fletcher.

Listen as Commissioner Troxler and Rhonda Garrison discuss these workshops and how to register for them.
