In the Kitchen with Lisa and Brian: Stuffed pork chops

by | Jan 14, 2010

WRAL reporter Brian Shrader and our own Lisa Prince feature seasonal recipes in their Got to Be Good Cookin’ segment using ingredients grown and available right here in North Carolina. We’ll post each video here, along with links to the recipes.

Deborah Johnson, executive director for the N.C. Pork Council, shared this recipe for stuffed pork chops with Lisa to kick off the Got to Be Good Cookin’ month of pork recipes:

We have some great pork recipes this month with lots of different cuts and ways to prepare them. North Carolina is the second largest hog-producing state in the nation, yielding approximately 15% of the national supply.  Fresh pork is leaner than it has ever been! Packed with protein, pork is a healthy choice for mealtime.  It’s a new year, let’s celebrate with friends and family and cook up some delicious and nutritious N.C. pork.
