by | Dec 10, 2009

WRAL reporter Brian Shrader and our own Lisa Prince feature seasonal recipes in their Got to Be Good Cookin’ segment using ingredients grown and available right here in North Carolina. We’ll post each video here, along with links to the recipes.

Now that it’s December, Lisa and Brian turn their focus to N.C. goodies, gifts and greenery for the holidays in the Got to Be Good Cookin’ kitchen.

This week, they cheese it up with an easy, four-ingredient recipe for a holiday cheeseball with a decorative twist. Check out the recipe video below:

Lisa has many more tips and recipes on the Got to Be Good Cookin’ site, as well as some information on holiday greenery grown in North Carolina:

North Carolina and the holidays go hand in hand. I just love the smell of that fresh tree in the house while we are decorating. I know it makes a little mess, but it is well worth it. Not to mention all the varieties of beautiful poinsettias we grow. They are just bursting with color and bring the holidays to life. And we can’t forget the smell of all the delicious food made with fresh ingredients grown or produced right here. So let North Carolina awaken all your senses this holiday season.
