This week’s N.C. State Fair winning recipe comes from Sondra Bass of Dunn. She won a blue ribbon in the N.C. Peanut Growers Association contest with a hearty stew perfect for the cooler fall Fair weather. State Fair, awards prizes for 1st Place ($200), 2nd Place ($150), 3rd Place ($100) and Honorable Mention ($50). But hurry, the deadline for registration is Saturday, Oct. 10
